Speak with Lt. Col. Quelsh[]

Major Alana Walden ( /way -5150 -2361 ) in Tyrena tells you that a Corellian Medal of Honor has been stolen from a retired CorSec officer. She has leads, and needs you to follow up on it, based on your reputation for effectiveness. Go and speak with Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh ( /way -5100 -2443 ) to ask him about his stolen medal.

Conversation with Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh[]

Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: Yes, may I help you? Are you here about my stolen medal?
PC: Yes, that's right. Can you tell me what happened?
Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: Well, I do not know what happened. My Corellian Medal of Honor is gone. That is all I know. I had expected you to tell me what happened.
PC: I'll do what I can. When did you last see your medal?
Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: Oh, I cannot recall. You should talk to my aide, Edbr. He might know when I last wore it. I cannot keep these things straight any more.

Speak with Edbr Yamagh[]

He has little information for you - speak to his aide de camp Ebdr, right next to him, for some help. He says he saw some thugs known as Braggan's Fist hanging about the house lately, and suggests you ask them if they know anything about it.

Conversation with Edbr Yamagh[]

Edbr Yamagh: You're here about Lt. Col. Quelsh's missing medal?
PC: Yes, that's right. Can you tell me what happened?
Edbr Yamagh: I wish I knew. He wears it practically every day. I can't imagine when someone could have stolen it. But I must admit that I've searched everywhere I could think of, and yet I've found no sign of it. Now that I think about it, there is one thing that might mean something.
PC: What's that?
Edbr Yamagh: I noticed some thugs hanging around the area recently. I think they call themselves Braggan's Fist. Whatever that means. They are often loitering around in the slums area. You might want to see if they were involved.
PC: Thanks. I'll check them out.
Edbr Yamagh: Good. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Defeat Some Braggan's Fist Thugs[]

Of course, thug gangs don't liked to be asked anything, so you will have to enter "aggressive negotiations" with them (CL38). Once you have killed 11 of them (they can be found around /way -5281 -2379 ) you learn that their leader, Karl Braggan, has been missing of late.

Braggan's Fist Thugs Talk[]

"The thugs claim to know nothing, but they let slip that their leader, Kal Braggan, has been acting odd of late and has disappeared. They also reveal the location of their main camp."

You also learn the location of their camp, perhaps you should visit it ( /way -5289 -2024 ).

On the way, talk to Sgt. Sola Hus ( /way -5300 -2080 ) for the quest Recovering Stolen Goods.

Search the Braggan's Fist Camp[]

A search of the camp reveals Karl Braggan's datapad, with his current location on it (he is in hiding but his men still are able to contact him).

Kal Braggan's Datapad[]

"Kal Braggan's datapad reveals that Kal has gone into hiding, though it does not say why. He left directions to his hiding place for his thugs, in case they need to find him. There is also an entry with the name Wilfred Quelsh, but it looks like most of that entry was recently deleted."

Speak With Kal Braggan[]

Braggan

The Mortal Remains of Kal Braggan

Go to the location and confront Braggan. His camp is in a ravine not far away - and so are his mortal remains!

Search the Hiding Place[]

Once you search his camp, you find the medal, and Braggan's journal.

Kal Braggan's Journal[]

"Upon opening Kal Braggan's journal, you find that the thug leader was working on a story of his past when he was a CorSec officer. He tells of a time when he was betrayed by a fellow officer. He was accused of taking money from smugglers in exchange for looking the other way as those smugglers brought illegal goods to Corellia. Kal Braggan was convicted, discharged from CorSec, and sent to prison for a number of years. Kal goes on to reveal proof that he was framed, and that the officer who set him up was the one taking money from the smugglers. That officer was awarded the Corellian Medal of Honor for his fight against corruption within CorSec. His name was Wilfred Quelsh."

Confront Lt. Col. Quelsh[]

The journal offers proof that it was Quelsh who broke CorSec regulations and framed Braggan for the crime. You should return to Tyrena with this information.

Confront Quelsh with this evidence and see what he has to say. He admits to killing Braggan himself, accidentally.

Conversation with Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh[]

Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: You found my medal? I am very happy. Where was it?
PC: It was next to Kal Braggan's dead body.
Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: Oh my. I don't think this will be good news after all.
PC: That's right. Want to tell me what happened?
Lt. Col. Wilfred Quelsh: Kal Braggan contacted me. He said he had proof of what I had done. So I went to speak to him. As a gentleman. I really had not meant to hurt him. Just scare him off. But things got out of hand, and I panicked. I must have dropped my medal during the chaos that ensued. Oh my. It would seem that this medal is my undoing. How appropriate.

Report to Major Walden[]

Report to Maj. Walden. She thanks you for your help and gives you your reward.

Conversation with Major Alana Walden[]

Major Alana Walden: Well, I have to admit that I didn't expect this turn of events. Wilfred Quelsh will pay for his crimes. All of them. It's a sad thing, though. Moving on. Are you ready for another case?
PC: Yes, what's next?
Major Alana Walden: A starship captain was assaulted upon leaving the cantina. The strange part is that he wasn't robbed. They attacked him and then left without taking anything. This is obviously not just a mugging. Look into it. You'll find the starship captain, Osto Grissom, near the cantina.
PC: I'm on my way.
Major Alana Walden: And may the Force be with you.
