Reverse engineering chance |
Reverse engineering chance is a skill modifier that affects reverse engineering.
Table of contents |
[edit] RE chance sources
A total of +154 Reverse Engineering Chance can be gained from skill enhancing attachments, powerups and each of the following:
- +100 total at level 90
- +10 from General expertise
- +5 A Cybernetic Deconstruction Arm: a collection reward from High Quality Resource Collection.
[edit] Skill enhancing attachments
Reverse engineering chance has a ratio of 10, therefore use +30 powerbits to make RE chance modifier bits. In order to make a +3 RE chance and + 35 Luck (2 stat) SEA, combine the RE chance modifier along with a +30 powerbit. Next combine the +3 RE chance SEA along with a luck modifier bit and either a +35 2nd or 3rd order powerbit.
- +4 on chest plate: +3 SEA made by munition traders and crafted with an inherent +1 modifier by armorsmiths. (+35 luck can also be added)
- +4 on weapon: +3 SEA made by engineers and crafted with an inherent +1 modifier by weaponsmiths. (+35 luck can also be added)
- +3 on shirt: made by tailors. (+35 luck can also be added)
[edit] Powerups
To craft a +10 powerup, you NEED A +35 POWER BIT and LUCK and RE MODS! So buy your first +10 powerups to then be able to make your own!
- +10 chest powerup, made by armorsmiths (can sometimes find or make +11)
- +10 shirt powerup, made by tailors (can sometimes find or make +11)
- +10 weapon powerup, made by droid engineers
[edit] Shipwrights
RE mods from powerups, armor, shirt, and weapon attachments, and the Cybernetic Deconstruction Arm do not work for Shipwright Reverse Engineering. Instead, A 90th level Shipwright adds a specific bonus to the parts they are REing and they get 1/10th the Expertise bonus (i.e. 1% from 2 points) in addition to the following table:
- Level 1 Parts = 1% bonus
- Level 2, 3 Parts = 2% bonus
- Level 4, 5 Parts = 3% bonus
- Level 6, 7 Parts = 4% bonus
- Level 8, 9 Parts = 5% bonus
- Level 10 Parts = 6% bonus
[edit] RE chance modifier bits
The following combinations of junk can be reverse engineered to create a Reverse Engineering chance modifier bit:
- Chemical Dispersion Device + a Leak Inspection System
- Chemical Dispersion Unit + a Leak Inspection System
- Medical Console + Circuit
- Medical Console + Droid Memory Module
- Medical Console + Untuned Circuit
- Used Notebook + Differential Regulator
- Used Notebook + Electronics Module
