Hello, I am...well, my name is not important (and it's not Marcus). Of course, I'm a contributer to this Wiki, and have been since...I think it was about August or September of 2005. But don't quote me on that.
I came upon this Wiki when I was looking for how to make my character a Jedi (pre NGE). Since then, I have been trying to contribute what I can to help other players and this Wiki. I promote the Wiki both in-game and on the Official SWG Forum (in my signature).

Most of you have seen my username greeting you to the wiki. Like the greeting states, feel free to drop me a line on my Talk page if you have any questions or comments. I have disabled my email address to keep spammers from harvesting it.
SWG has changed a lot not only with the NGE, but also continues to change with each publish/chapter. My goal is to not only get all the information I can about this game on this website, but to make sure that the information is as recent (and, of course, accurate) as possible.

[edit] My Characters
When I play, I usually play my main character, Shelong. But, since given the ability to have at least two characters per server, I have created Dende also on the same server as Shelong. Both of my characters are on the Wanderhome server.
Since the NGE, I have been trying to Roleplay my characters. So, I have created a roleplaying background for both character.
I also have created a few characters on the Test Center servers, but I only use them for testing and information gathering purposes. I don't list these characters because after I am done with them, I usually delete them.

You can read the entire story of Shelong here. The following is a brief summary:
Shelong's mother died when he and his (step) brother were just teenagers. Due to his duty to the Empire, Shelong's (step) father had no time for the two boys, so he allowed Shelong to enroll in an Imperial academy on Coruscant. Dende tried to stay with his father, but was often taken care of by the household droids when his father was called to duty.
During the last year of Shelong's stay at the academy, his (step) father was killed for reasons dubbed, "crimes against the Empire". Shelong and Dende would later find out that he was a foreman and that Darth Vader personally killed him as a "warning" to other workers during the construction of the first Death Star. Because Shelong's (step) father was accused of crimes, he was stripped of his estate, forcing Dende into homelessness. Dende would later disappear, leading Shelong to believe that he was dead, too.
Despite the family being stripped of it's estate, Shelong was allowed to finish out his last year at the academy. Following his graduation, Shelong was invited to Tatooine by a friend that had graduated the year before, Cerrgurry. Shelong traveled to the Outer Rim where he learned about the about his parents, and that he was able to weild the Force.
In the time that followed, the Empire was notified of a Rebel with a Lightsaber attacking thier Imperial Outpost on Talus. From holocron images, and the records at the academy on Coruscant, it was discovered that this person was Shelong Xavier. The Empire put out a reward for the capture or proof of death for Shelong, forcing him even deeper into hiding.

When Dende was still in his teens, his father was killed for reasons dubbed, "crimes against the Empire". The family was stripped of it's estate and his older (step) brother, Shelong was unable to take care of him, so Dende "disappeared".
The truth is, Dende decided that since he already lost everything, he had nothing else to lose. So, Dende fell in with the criminal element on Coruscant, which eventually led him to find out about the Rebel Alliance. Given his uncanny "knack" with firearms and love of explosives, Dende fit right in with some of the Rebel sypathizers on Coruscant.
One day, Dende had seen a picture of a Zabrak on a Wanted poster on Coruscant. So, having nothing to tie him to Coruscant, Dende hopped on the first transport to Talus to see if he could track down Shelong. But, while en route, the transport was taken over by an Imperial ship. The next thing Dende remembered was waking up in an Imperial Medical facility with some droid coming over the comm-link...
